DELF / DALF

Examen Civique
The Civic Exam is required for
- an application for a multi-year residence permit,
- a resident card,
- or for a French naturalisation application
It takes the form of a 40-question multiple-choice test in French, completed on a computer in up to 45 minutes.. It assesses your knowledge of the Republic’s values, how institutions work, rights and duties, and life in French society.
